12th Lavazza Italian Film Festival: Program Launch

Lavazza Italian Film Festival

Festival season is well underway, with a plethora of unique showcases of films around the world yet to come before the end of the year.  The Lavazza Italian Film Festival is now in its twelfth year, kicking off with Luca Miniero’s Welcome to the South (Benvenuti al sud), a remake of the 2008 French hit Welcome to the Sticks. Bookending the event is actor John Turturro’s Passione.

Along with over 30 contemporary Italian titles, including Corpo Celeste straight from the Director’s Fortnight at the Cannes Film Festival, horror fans can rejoice with a restrospective of Dario Argento’s Deep Red, Tenebrae and Suspiria.
