I used to ‘love’ movies, all kinds of movies..as a young teenager in a new country, movies in general provided me with an accurate depiction of life and language in the US, I saw everything twice, exponentially many more if the film really touched my spirit, I can still recall Miramax’s “Enchanted April” and ” A Month by the lake”
Once in a very blue moon ( no pun intended ) I witnessed some true revelations on celluloid, a selected few that remain embedded in my soul. Then I saw this film ” Melancholia” and all my eschatology reading and studies went out the door ( And some windows too ) I connected to every second of this film like a second skin, I’m left still searching for a missing piece of my heart! And like such other rare events in life, this film transformed me in every facet of my life. Bravo One Thousand Times to each person who made this profound story feel so very real to me
I will always pay homage to the director and cast for making me release such a formidable catharsis in my life!
