After the reveal of the new poster on Wednesday, and the behind-the-scenes look at the filming of the scene in which Tom Cruise shows how truly mad he is by climbing the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, we now have a second trailer for the fourth film in the successful Mission: Impossible series, introduced by director Brad Bird (The Incredibles).
We will be seeing a preview of the opening of the film next week, and we’ll be sure to report back on what we are allowed to reveal. However, if this trailer is anything to go by then we are in for a bit of a ride.
Blamed for the terrorist bombing of the Kremlin, IMF operative Ethan Hunt is disavowed along with the rest of the agency when the President initiates “Ghost Protocol”. Left without any resources or backup, Ethan must find a way to clear his agency’s name and prevent another attack. To complicate matters further, Ethan is forced to embark on this mission with a team of fellow IMF fugitives whose personal motives he does not fully know.
Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol is due for release in Australia on 15 December 2011 from Paramount.
