Peter Jackson is the gift that keeps on giving. Following the release of the first official trailer for the highly anticipated The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey this week, Jackson and co have now released a fifth video production diary for the making of the epic prequels to his Lord of the Rings trilogy.
In this chapter, Jackson and his crew discuss the difficulties is moving a production of the scale of The Hobbit from studio shooting to the location shoots for Hobbiton.
We also get to see the freshly rebuilt Hobbiton, now made from sustainable materials which will be used to permanently house the sets for generations to come. Elijah Wood returns to the role of Frodo to take us through the sets, and discuss how important it was for him to return there.
The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey is released on 26 December 2012 in Australia from Roadshow.
