Only a few days after the announcement that Machete Kills is planned for an April production start, the good folks over at ComingSoon have released an exclusive first look at the sales art to promote the film at the European Film Market (EFM) in Berlin this week.
This is obviously very early art, and is not indicative of the final poster. Indeed, the film hasn’t even started shooting yet. We are hoping for another retro-cool poster from Kustom Creative for this second outing of a planning trilogy.
The new film finds Machete recruited by the U.S. Government for a mission which would be impossible for any mortal man. Machete must battle his way through Mexico to take down a madman cartel leader and an eccentric billionaire arms dealer who has hatched a plan to spread war across the planet with a weapon in space. Machete takes on an army in an effort to dismantle a plan for global anarchy.
