Marvel.com has released the latest trailer for Ultimate Spider-man. Unlike the comic of the same name, this one is destined for the “Marvel Universe” section of Disney XD, and it should be noted that this is aimed fairly at kids. The sense of humour is the off-the-wall kind (see the toasty image below), and while this may not be the Spider-man us older geeks want, we’ll undoubtedly get that in The Amazing Spider-man in July.
Watch Peter Parker as he endures the typical life of a teenager at Midtown High School, all while juggling the responsibility of Spider-Man along with his super powered allies! The show features Drake Bell as the voice of Spider-Man and the creative team including some big names: Paul Dini, Brian Michael Bendis and Man of Action (Joe Casey, Joe Kelly, Duncan Rouleau and Steven T. Seagle).
Ultimate Spider-man will commence on Disney XD in the US on 1 April 2012. It does not currently have an Australian screening scheduled.
