Judd Apatow’s long-awaited spin-off to Knocked Up is This Is 40, and the first trailer is here. It’s definitely got that sentimental vibe somewhere between Knocked Up and Funny People. Let’s hope it is more of the former.
Writer/director/producer Judd Apatow (The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Funny People) brings audiences This Is 40, an original comedy that expands upon the story of Pete (Paul Rudd) and Debbie (Leslie Mann) from the blockbuster hit Knocked Up as we see firsthand how they are dealing with their current state of life. It also stars Megan Fox, John Lithgow, Iris Apatow, Maude Apatow, Melissa McCarthy, Robert Smigel, Charlene Yi and Albert Brooks.
This Is 40 is released in the US on 21 December 2012 from Universal.
