Darren Aronofsky (via Twitter) has revealed a massive physical set for Noah, his film based on the Biblical tale from the Book of Genesis, part of the best-selling volume The Bible. It will star Russell Crowe, Jennifer Connelly, Saoirse Ronan, Emma Watson, Ray Winstone and Anthony Hopkins.
In a world ravaged by human sin, Noah is given a divine mission: to build an Ark to save creation from the coming flood. The screenplay was written by Aronofsky and Ari Handel and revised by Academy Award®-nominated screenwriter John Logan. On Twitter, Aronofsky added: I dreamt about this since I was 13. And now it’s a reality. Genesis 6:14
We just want to know if it is 300 cubits long, 50 cubits wide, and 30 cubits high. Paramount will release the film on 28 March 2014.
