Variety is reporting that Warner is assembling all of its creative units and teams around a push for Justice League, an adapting of the comic book series that features all of DC Comics major superheroes such as Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman.
It was previously announced that Gangster Squad scribe Will Beall has penned a script that the studio hopes to have ready for a 2015 release to cinemas.
Christopher Nolan has already counted himself out of the race for directing the team-up, ending his superhero run (for now) after next week’s The Dark Knight Rises. It is unclear whether a Batman reboot will take place before then.
Marc Guggenheim and Michael Green are said to be writing The Flash for director Greg Berlanti, while Green Lantern writer Michael Goldenberg has been hired to write Wonder Woman.
On the small screen, Warner’s CW network is creating awareness through October’s Arrow, focusing on sometimes Justice League member Green Arrow.
Warner is expected to announce its next films within the coming months.
