Only days after Joss Whedon threw his hat in with Obama and away from the zombie apocalypse, perhaps the oldest surviving Republican, Springfield billionaire Charles Montgomery “Monty” Burns has endorsed Mitt Romney, despite his many public gaffs.
In the video, Mr. Burns encourages us to love Romney, and tries to encourage a dog to do the same. This might be the sharpest satire The Simpsons has displayed in years. Perhaps Matt Groening should retire the show and work on political campaigns full time.
The Simpsons returns to US television on 4 November 2012 for the continuation of the 24th season.
