Paramount Pictures Australia has announced the official title of the next film in the blockbuster franchise from Michael Bay, TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT.
Michael Bay returns to direct the film, with Mark Wahlberg returning as Cade Yeager, and adding Isabela Moner and Jerrod Carmichael to the cast as well. The film will be written by written by Art Marcum, Matt Holloway and Ken Nolan Read. To date, the Transformers films have made a collective $3.7 billion at the box office according to Box Office Mojo, and we suspect this will push it closer to the $5 billion mark, especially with a sixth film already slated for 2019.
Production on the film commences June, 2016 with the film is set to release in Australia 22 June 2017. (See all Australian Release Dates)
