HBO has confirmed some news that’s pretty, pretty, pretty good. Comedy series CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM and Larry David will return for the ninth season of the award-winning show.
“We’re thrilled that Larry has decided to do a new season of CURB and can’t wait to see what he has planned,” said Bloys.
Asked why he decided to come back, David said, “In the immortal words of Julius Caesar, ‘I left, I did nothing, I returned.’”
Created by and starring Seinfeld co-creator Larry David, who was also the inspiration for George Costanza, David plays and over-the-top version of himself in a loosely scripted comedy about the trials and tribulations of being Larry David. When we left the character, he was in a war with Michael J. Fox and fleeing New York to return to the insanity of Los Angeles.
Definitely stay tuned for more of this, as we will be the first glued to the screen for more CURB.
