CONSTANTINE is returning to our televisions! The CW announced today at the Television Critics Association winter press tour that the former NBC show, cancelled after its first season, will be back in animated form starting from 2018 on CW Seed.
Matt Ryan, who portrayed the character in the live action series, will reprise his role as the voice of Constantine. Ryan has appeared on Arrow as the character since the cancellation, as well as voicing John Constantine in the Justice League Dark animated series. Like the Vixen series before it, the new CONSTANTINE will consist of 10 episodes of around 5-6 minutes a piece.
Keeping it all in the family, Greg Berlanti will executive produce the series. Writer David S. Goyer will also join the series. The big question is: will he be allowed to smoke?
