By jove, we think they’ve got it! Following days of character posters and teaser snippets, Warner has debuted the trailer for JUSTICE LEAGUE, the highly anticipated team film that brings together the DC Extended Universe. It will be released on 16 November 2017 in Australia from Roadshow Films, following a 10 November 2017 release in the US.
The tone of the trailer, set to the ubiquitous “Icky Thump” from the White Stripes and a cover of The Beatles’ “Come Together,” is all about the epic and frenetic nature of the union. Focusing on the banter between the would-be team, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of newfound allies Diana Prince (Gal Gadot), Arthur Curry (Jason Momoa), Barry Allen (Ezra Miller) and Victor Stone (Ray Fisher) for a purpose unknown. The great thing about the trailer is that it actually gives away very little of the plot and introduces a concept not previously seen in Snyder’s MurderVerse: fun.
In addition to the main cast gracing the poster, we catch glimpses of Amber Heard as Mera, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, and J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon.
