Just when you thought it was safe to go back near storm drains. After terrifying audiences and creating a fear of clowns throughout the 1980s and 1990s, one of Stephen King’s most famous novels comes to the big screen at last in September 2017.
The first poster for Andrés Muschietti’s adaptation of IT mercifully keeps Pennywise mostly out of sight, so he can now only hurt us when we think about his horrifying visage in the dark recesses of our mind. Stephen King has officially announced that the film will be known as It: Part 1 – The Losers’ Club, with the weighty narrative of the 1138 page novel being split over two films.
The trailer is said to drop tomorrow.
