The San Diego Comic-Con has given us new trailers for the entire slate of CW TV shows with the ‘Arrowverse’ of Greg Berlanti productions.
Acting as recaps and sizzle reels for the forthcoming seasons, we get an early look atARROW, SUPERGIRL,THE FLASH and LEGENDS OF TOMORROW.
All of the shows will be returning in October 2017, with the full CW Fall premiere dates announced back in June.
Arrow: Season 6
The trailer kicks off with a recap of Season 5, and the explosive finale that left the fate of the entire cast in jeopardy. The brief footage we season from the new season shows Oliver reconnecting with his son, and facing off once again with Slade Wilson/Deathstroke.
The Flash: Season 4
The prospect of a world without a Flash was where we were left at the end of Season 3, and the supporting characters in this trailer promise a sharper and funnier approach to the source material. Maybe we really did need a break from Barry’s self-flagellation?
Legends of Tomorrow: Season 3
At the end of the previous season, the Legends had broken time. This massive mash-up season looks set to play with that concept, giving us everything from dinosaurs to clowns, and other terrifying things in between. This is definitely the most fun of all the DC TV shows on the CW right now.
Supergirl: Season 3
While Kara’s constant questioning of herself was one of the major issues of the second season, in this trailer she decides to put her human identity away and focus on being Supergirl. A new threat may help galvanize Kara into a decision. Adrian Pasdar makes a brief appearance as “Morgan Edge, a ruthless real estate developer who will stop at nothing to get what he wants.”
