The 66th Melbourne International Film Festival, which concluded Sunday 20 August after 18 days of film fun and frivolity, has announced the 2017 MIFF Audience Award.
Of the 346 films, it is unsurprising that the social media darling Call Me By Your Name took out the top slot. Australian productions Ali’s Wedding, That’s Not Me and Top of the Lake: China Girl were also in the Top 10.
All for One topped the documentary slots, an Australian documentary about the international cycling team. I Am Not Your Negro, The Song Keepers, and Mountain were also highlights of the doco Top 10.
We covered a whopping total of 52 films at our 2017 Melbourne International Film Festival portal. Our tweeting throughout the Festival has also been saved on Storify. Check out our ranked list of MIFF films.
