One of our favourite films of 2011, The Muppets, is distinctive for its terrific soundtrack with Flight of the Conchords’ Brett McKenzie as the music supervisor. Along with “Life’s A Happy Song”, one of the most memorable tunes from the film is “Man or Muppet?”, written by McKenzie and performed by Jason Segel and Walter. Disney has sent the music video for the latter over for us to watch repeatedly.
When Walter, the world’s biggest Muppet fan, and friends Gary (Jason Segel) and Mary (Amy Adams) discover the nefarious plan of oilman Tex Richman (Chris Cooper) to raze the Muppet Theatre, they help Kermit reunite the Muppets to stage The Greatest Muppet Telethon Ever and raise the $10 million needed to save the theatre.
