Pawn Shop Chronicles is a dark comedy in the vein of Pulp Fiction and The Big Lebowski about a man searching for his abducted wife, a couple of white supremacist meth heads and a sad sack Elvis impersonator all linked through items sold or found in a small Southern town’s local pawn shop. Humor, chills and mayhem ensue.

“This is a superbly written mind-bender of a story that grabs you from the first line, and doesn’t let go,” stated Schur. “We are incredibly fortunate to have found Wayne Kramer to present it, and equally thrilled with the diverse and talented cast assembled.”

Mimran Schur Pictures, an independent production company, was co-founded by Jordan Schur and David Mimran in early 2009 for the purpose of producing exceptional films spanning all genres. The company’s first project was Stone, and MSP’s most recent production, Warrior, was co-financed with Lionsgate and was highly praised for its gritty portrayal of a broken family who take their frustrations out in the cage fighting ring.
