Israeli Film Festival 2012Palace Cinemas has announced the full program for the 2012 AICE Israeli Film Festival, highlighting a score of films from the burgeoning Israeli film industry.

Screening 20 feature and documentary films across five cities, this year’s expanded festival will bring the best of Israeli cinema to Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth. The Sydney leg of the festival will run from August 15 to August 26 at Palace Verona.

Some of the highlights include the opening night film Restoration from director Boker Tov Adon Fidelman, for which writer Erez Kav-El won the World Cinema Screenwriting Award (Dramatic) at the Sundance Film Festival. There’s also a Retrospective Program focuses on one of Israel’s leading actors.
