Following the revelation of the new Tactical Batsuit from JUSTICE LEAGUE, Zack Snyder has kept holy the sacred #BatmanDay by tweeting a picture of J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon in the forthcoming film. Once again, this is the kind of thing you’ll find all over the Interwebs, so thanks for clicking on whatever link led you here.
Depicting the infamous Batsignal that has been on Gotham rooftops for almost eight decades, it’s a very different looking Gordon to the Ned Flanders version that Gary Oldman played for three big-screen entries. The Fedora hat adds a nice touch of retro charm, not to mention visually referencing another famous screen hero, perhaps indicating a stylistically different vision for JUSTICE LEAGUE.
Check out the suit, and other images from the film released so far, in the gallery below.
JUSTICE LEAGUE will feature Batman (Ben Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), and Superman (Henry Cavill), alongside new featured players Aquaman (Jason Momoa), The Flash (Ezra Miller), Cyborg (Ray Fisher), Mera (Amber Heard), with Lois Lane (Amy Adams), Alfred (Jeremy Irons). An unknown role has gone to Willem Dafoe, while an incredibly buff J.K. Simmons has been as Commissioner Gordon.
JUSTICE LEAGUE is released on 11 November 2017 in the US, and on 16 November 2017 in Australia from Roadshow Films.
