Glover is currently starring in the FX series Atlanta, which he also produces, and the creator/star has assured the source that there will be no scheduling conflict with the casting.

Lando was, of course, originally played by Billy Dee Williams in The Empire Strikes Back (1980) and Return of the Jedi (1983), where a significant backstory between the character and Han Solo was suggested but never shown. Williams recently reprised his role for the animated Star Wars: Rebels series for Disney XD. Yet the real question is whether Glover will now appear in a series of Colt 45 beer commercials?
