The long-awaited third season of YOUNG JUSTICE: OUTSIDERS just offered us a first look at the new and old characters at the San Diego Comic-Con panel.
The new line-up will include Static, Kid Flash, Robin, Wonder Girl, Spoiler, Blue Beetle, Arrowette, Arsenal and Beast Boy. They added that a new character named Thirteen will be joining the group for this year.
Young Justice originally ran from 2011 to 2013 on the Cartoon Network, and what many see as a premature cancellation has been a sore point for fans in the intervening years. While a date has not been seen, Warner have confirmed that the series will be returning to our screens via a DC-branded digital service.
In the image, we see a number of familiar designs and faces, along with some new ones. As massive Green Arrow fans, we are extraordinarily pleased to see Arsenal returning, along with Arrowette who is pictured standing to his left. She is no stranger to comic fans, but this is the first time she has appeared in a starring role in an animated series.
Pictured to her left is the new character of Thirteen, with her paramilitary outfit suggesting that she comes from an organisation outside of the traditional superhero factories of the Teen Titans and Justice League.
