Exciting news for Australia’s plans to dominate world culture. Will Ferrell’s production company Gary Sanchez, in association with CBS Television Studios, will produce a US version of the Stan Original comedy series NO ACTIVITY, working with the Australian Jungle team.
The Australian comedy series starred Patrick Brammall and Darren Gilshenan as two detectives on a stakeout. The eight-part US series will begin shooting in the final quarter of 2017, with Jungle’s Trent O’Donnell and Patrick Brammall as Showrunners and Executive Producers. Jason Burrows and Joe Farrell will also serve as Executive Producers.
The original Australian version of NO ACTIVITY was written and directed by Jungle’s Trent O’Donnell, and was the first local commission by Stan. It has currently streamed two seasons on Stan.
The show will debut on CBS All Access, which is currently expanding its original content. They will join the network’s inaugural original scripted series The Good Fight, a spin-off of The Good Wife, , and the upcoming Star Trek: Discovery.
