‘Maze Runner: The Death Cure’ trailer closes trilogy

Maze Runner: The Death Cure

There’s a little bit of Mad Max in the trailer for MAZE RUNNER: THE DEATH CURE, the final chapter in the dystopian YA trilogy. Based on the books by James Dashner, fans finally get a chance to see footage from the upcoming film after a long delay.

In the epic finale to the Maze Runner saga, Thomas leads his group of escaped Gladers on their final and most dangerous mission yet. To save their friends, they must break into the legendary Last City, a WCKD-controlled labyrinth that may turn out to be the deadliest maze of all. Anyone who makes it out alive will get answers to the questions the Gladers have been asking since they first arrived in the maze.

Wes Ball returns as the series director, bringing with him a cast that includes Dylan O’Brien, Kaya Scodelario, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Ki Hong Lee, Giancarlo Esposito, Aidan Gillen, Barry Pepper, Will Poulter, and Patricia Clarkson.

The film was originally scheduled to be out in February this year, but filming was delayed after Dylan O’Brien was seriously injured on the set of the film. Landing in Australian cinemas on 25 January 2018 from 20th Century Fox, it lines up with the US release date of 26 January 2018.
