Brisbane anime fans rejoice! Madman has announced voice actress Yui Ishikawa as their first guest for Madman Anime Festival Brisbane 2018. It is being held 2 & 3 June at the Brisbane Convention Centre.
The Japanese actress is best known to the anime community as the voice of Mikasa Akerman in the insanely popular anime adaptation of Attack on Titan. Of course, she was heard in cinemas around the world last year as the voice of Miyoko Sahara in A Silent Voice, one of our picks for the best films of 2017.
Her other notable roles include Violet Evergarden in the new Kyoto Animation series Violet Evergarden, and 2B in NieR: Automata.
Ishikawa will be appearing throughout the weekend at Madman Anime Festival, taking part in Attack on Titan panels as well as participating in free autograph and cheki (polaroid 2 shot) sessions with VIP attendees.
