Clayton Jacobson and Shane Jacobson’s ‘Brother’s Nest’ in Australia cinemas 21 June

Brothers' Nest

Label Distribution will release BROTHERS’ NEST, the new film directed by Clayton Jacobson, starring brothers Shane and Clayton Jacobson, across Australia on 21 June 2018 (NB: this date has moved from 10 May 2018). It follows a successful debut at SXSW in Austin, where reviews favourably compared it to Ben Wheatley and the Coen Brothers. You can check out a teaser trailer below.

12 years after the massive success of the mockumentary Kenny, director and actor Clayton Jacobson reunites with his brother Shane Jacobson for what is a very different film. On a cold morning in the middle of country Victoria, two brothers arrive at the family home with treacherous intent. Terry and Jeff’s motive is to make sure their dying mother’s plan to change her will in favor of her husband – their stepfather – is upturned. It is all meticulously planned, but there is one crucial thing the boys didn’t take into account – spending an entire day together.

Written by Jaime Browne and Produced by Jason Byrne, BROTHERS’ NEST also features Kym Gyngell, Lynette Curran and Sarah Snook.

Shane Jacobson can’t sit still this year, having already released The BBQ and That’s Not My Dog! to cinemas.
