Director Witthaya Thongyooyong (The Little Comedian) returns as Thailand‘s BROTHER OF THE YEAR (Nong Pee Teerak) hits Australian cinemas on 12 July 2018 from Tangren Cultural Group. You can check out the trailer below.

The film follows Jane (Urassaya Sperbund), who lives with her brother Chut (Sunny Suwanmethanont). With Jane about to get married and move to Japan, Chut must learn to fend for himself. Enter Moji (Nichkhun, best known for being in Korean pop band 2PM), who becomes the focal point for sibling as Jane’s boyfriend and a client Chut is trying to please.

Released at the beginning of May in its native Thailand, where it topped the box office upon initial release. According to SBS, the film made $2 million USD in just four days and is the most successful Thai movie of the year so far. 

Thai production studio GDH is on a roll this year, with BROTHER OF THE YEAR following up their high school heist film Bad Genius.
