Jason Bateman and Charlie Day head to Australia for ‘Horrible Bosses’ premiere

Horrible Bosses - Jason Bateman & Charlie Day

Horrible Bosses posterWe are very excited to learn that Roadshow is bringing out Jason Bateman (Arrested Development, Couples Retreat, The Switch) and his co-star Charlie Day (Going the Distance and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia) will come to Australia for the Melbourne and Sydney premieres of their new comedy Horrible Bosses.

The Australian premiere will see the pair walk the carpet on Sunday August 14 in Melbourne, followed by the Sydney harbour cities premiere event on Tuesday 16 August.

The film is about Nick (Bateman), Kurt (Jason Sudeikis) and Dale (Day), for whom the only thing that would make the daily grind more tolerable would be to grind their intolerable bosses into dust.  Quitting is not an option, so, with the benefit of a few-too-many drinks and some dubious advice from a hustling ex-con, the three friends devise a convoluted and seemingly foolproof plan to rid themselves of their respective employers…permanently.

The film also stars Jennifer Aniston (He’s Just Not That Into You), Colin Farrell (Crazy Heart) and  Kevin Spacey (American Beauty) as their unbearable bosses.  Jamie Foxx (Ray) stars as the plotters’ unlikely mentor, whose “street cred is priced on a sliding scale”.

Horrible Bosses

Horrible Bosses is released in Australia on 25 August 2011 from Roadshow
