Oz Comic-Con has announced that William Shatner, Gigi EdgleyJason Momoa and Chris Judge have been added to the new Brisbane and Sydney legs of our favourite ‘Con next September.

William Shatner needs very little introduction, and delighted crowds in Melbourne last month with tales of Star Trek, Boston Legal and the communal nature of conventions. The rest of the East Coast gets to see him this year as he heads up the inaugural Sydney and Brisbane There will be specialty tickets available for The Shatner Experience soon via their website. There will be a Facebook announcement made once these are available to purchase.

Edgley is best known for her role as Chiana on Farscape, and has previously visited Australia for the ‘Con on the other side of the country. Other announced guests so far include Jason Momoa, Chris Judge, Amanda Tapping for Sydney/Brisbane. Sanctuary co-stars Amanda Tapping and Robin Dunne will hit our shores for the Perth and Adelaide shows in March/April next year., along with comic book artist Brad Walker and voice actors Mike McFarland and Todd Haberkorn.

Momoa is perhaps best known for his roles in Stargate: AtlantisConan and Game of Thrones, while Judge is most recognisable from his recurring role as Teal’c in Stargate SG-1.

  • Brisbane, QLD – September 6 and 7 at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre
  • Sydney, NSW – September 13 and 14 at the Sydney Exhibition Centre at Glebe Island
