Coinciding with the DOCTOR WHO panel at San Diego Comic-Con, BBC have released the first trailer for the upcoming Christmas special, officially called ‘Twice Upon a Time.’
In the brief narrative, something has gone wrong with time and they are trapped within a single moment. The trailer confirms that the Christmas Special will feature two Doctors: the First Doctor (David Bradley), and Peter Capaldi in his last (for now) outing as the Twelfth. It also confirms that Pearl Mackie will return as Bill, and Mark Gatiss will return in a new role as some kind of British military (possibly the infamous Christmas truce of the First World War).
DOCTOR WHO: TWICE UPON A TIME will debut on 25 December 2017, or 26 December 2017 if you’re in Australia.
